2nd Portlandia Screening Added!

Due to the amazing demand for Portlandia tickets (the first show was sold out in less than 24 hours!), we’ve added a second showing on Friday, January 14 at 10 PM.  These will go fast so get them now.

Additionally, Colin Meloy of The Decemberists has been announced as a special guest for the after party (which starts at 9 PM).  For those of you only able to get tickets to the 10 PM show, I suggest making it a pre-party and hitting it up again after the show.

Here’s all the information from the press release:

With the first sneak preview selling out in less than 24 hours, a second screening of the first two episodes of Portlandia has been added on January 14th, 2011 at 10:00pm featuring Rogue’s specially brewed “Portlandia” beer, a performance by a special guest comic and a Q+A with a member of the show’s creative team. The screening will benefit the Oregon Humane Society and Film Action Oregon, the nonprofit owner and operator of the Hollywood Theatre.

Tickets are also still available for the after party presented by BAM (Beer and Movies) at @Large Films, at 807 NE Couch Street, with doors opening at 9:00pm. The party is being generously sponsored by PDX POP NOW!, Crave Catering and New Belgium. After party bands were thoughtfully curated by Carrie Brownstein, with performances by Eric Earley (Blitzen Trapper), the nine-member “roots music machine” Pancake Breakfast, and Colin Meloy (The Decemberists). DJ Nightschool and DJ Whitney will spin.

Both the preview screening and after party are sponsored by Oregon Film.

Tickets for this charity event are as follows:
Premiere: $15
After party: $10
